G.M. and PepsiCo have issued a recall for some fuel and food products after reports of a potentially deadly E. coli-causing E.coli outbreak in Italy.
The Italian Health Ministry said it received a report from an E. Coli expert that the company used improperly treated corn and other grain ingredients in the pasta, corn sauce, and corn salad products.
The products have been recalled from U.S. and Canadian grocery stores.
The products are available in two flavors: white and dark.
The recall was issued on Thursday and is expected to be in effect until Friday.
The recall covers some products from G. Meats and Pepsi Co., and they have no immediate impact on sales.
